Websites develment and design is an interesting world , but to learn web design and develop you will face alot of tools and programs and you will confuse which way to go with.

so you first need to specify what you need to learn

I will in this article show you the most common languages ,programs or tools used in web design and develop ... so lets start

so , what the website contsists of :

website or blogger is a set of webpages every web page is consists of one or more of these contents.

texts , photos , banners , videos

the art of web design is the way to organise these contents in a beautiful ,nice , well looking and easy to read way .

but web develop is the way to emplement these web pages

so you need first learn how to develop the web page:

to develop a web page you first should specify the contents of this web page

if the contents are static contents , text , photos or any thing and this web page doesn't need interactions at all from user

so it's static web page you can use Html only

Html (Hyper Text Markup Language) to be a web developer HTML is the first Language you need to learn and to start with .

HTML: its a set of markup's you use to meet your needs to build a web page.

you can also use any program or tool to build your html page without knowing html language details

there are alot of them

like Front page , Dreamweaver, HTML editor, or even Microsoft word

But, what if you need to create a dynamic page

dynamic pages use databases to save their contents ,and you need then to learn a programming language to interact with database contents or even other contents displayed in the web page

programming languages used in web devopment are various i will mention you the most common and popular

- Asp.net

asp.net is the most famous microsoft technology now of creating websites .. to learn more about it you can visit http://www.asp.net , and you can choose a microsoft sql server as a common used and easy database management system to use with asp.net to store your contents

to program with asp.net you need to learn microsoft .net programmng language like C# or VB.NET

-Php

php (personal home page)

is an easy language , cheap than asp.net , and even fast

you need to use MySql as database mangemnt system with php

-perl

- classic asp

and there are alot of othere languages

but i recommend you asp.net or php

, these previous programming languages are named as Script languages

, then you developed your website

But the Style of these web pages is not so good , so you need to design them

to design your site pages you need to use

Html tags

html tages contains alot of tages to makes your text style good or photos like colors alignments ....etc

Css:

css is a core for web designer its mean cascading style sheet ,its an easy way for styling your contents

flash

dreamweaver

all the previous tools are also common and popular for web design but are not the only tools used . there are alot of alternatives, But you haven't to use all of these tools to get a well designed and good looking website , you can use one , two or more tools to design good site, You can even use just HTML tags, Briefly Web Design depends on your sense and creativity then use your sense to benefit from these tools .
